Tweetdeck: Shows you everything your want to see all at once so that you can stay organized. This the application I have been using. I keep it up on my desktop all of the time. To remind me to tweet and check my tweets. This is a very easy application to use. Tweetdeck is adding a multiple user feature soon, for those of you that have multiple twitter accounts. (Sheeesh! I can’t even think about that, I just learned this!)
Traci Knoppe of Genisis Blogging give a quick video tutorial of Tweedeck.
Twhirl: Easy to download and follow tweets. Simplest of all the apps. Simple in form and in use.
Seesmic Desktop: Traci Knoppe has two videos showing this application. Seesmic is a very extensive application. Good for people with a lot of followers.

As with any new tool or application. Pick one that looks like it will fit your needs. Play around with it. Press all of the buttons. Learn it! and Learn it well, so that you can move on to the next tool you would like to learn.
