On April 6th I started Connie Green’s 30 day challenge. The challenge is to write 1 blog post each day for 30 days.
I was a bit skeptical at first. What would be the purpose? What would I have to say every day? Does blogging everyday work or should posts be left up long enough for readers to see them? Can I keep up with my networking? Can I keep my blogs relevant?
15 Day Results
- I am faster at writing my blog posts.
- Found out that my blog posts can be simple and effective.
- According to Google Analytics my visitors are up and pages read per visit are up.
- At first I had a slight increase in visitors from SEO but that has dropped back down. Most of my visitors come from other sites.
- This has helped me to write my articles faster.
- It really takes time to drive traffic to my site…but I must be effective.
- Better put a little more attention on the SEO end of this game.
- I always have plenty to say and so far I have stayed relevant to what my blog is about.
I am also still doing the Problogger challenge. That is going really well. I have written some different styled posts that have been really fun. There is a reason he is PROblogger.
Now I am off to write a new post. I like to stay several days ahead.
To your own blogging success!
Sheila

Sheila… way to go. I’ve had fun viewing your site everyday… Your posts have been very helpful. I love the Twitter posts… and the bird icons are darling.
Most of my traffic comes from SEO… I would like a few more folks coming in directly or from other sites. Are we ever satisfied?
