What is it we like about a challenge? What makes such a call to action so enticing? I think it is as simple as WE LIKE TO WIN!
Whether it is a challenge we take ourselves or the ones we watch, we like the challenge and rooting for a winner. Over 22 million people watched American Idol last week. Over 93 million people watched the Superbowl.
Last February we drove for 3 hours to Lava Hot Springs to watch the Superbowl. Being in the West, most of the room was rooting for the Cardinals.Those who were placing bets on the Steelers weren’t afraid to stand up and challenge the rest of us. The way we acted you would have thought we were on hoping for a ring on our finger. I thought I would die when James Harrison intercepted the ball and made his famous 100 yard touch down. I wanted to win!
I want to win at “Making Money Online” so this week I joined two different challenges…as if I don’t have enough to do! I just couldn’t resist. Both challenges came from two people I really respect, and I always have plenty to learn. I like the fact that I have much more control over this game (no interceptions).

P.S. For me, putting a roof over our heads is not a challenge, putting food on the table is not a challenge. I am grateful that basic survival is not a challenge I have to face.
