Internet Web Site Marketing

Jumping in and playing the game of Internet web site marketing has been quite a ride. I have been actively doing this for a year now. Let me tell you, I have come a long way baby.

What have I accomplished in a year?

My first web site went on line in January 1st 2009. I just jumped in and did it. Today I finished my second website. Both are on WordPress – love this format.

I have written 3 reports and one has an optin page that is bring traffic to my site and email list.  It is my plan to have optin pages for all three reports and then create an ebook. (I actually put the optin page up all by my self!) It is on WordPress of course.

I am indexed at #3 for 5 keywords I have been promoting.

I am a publisher on Ezine Articles. I have 19 articles published and 6 more in queue.

I have learned how to use an auto responder. I have two different lists going and my responder is filled for 4 months.

I have learned WordPress so well that I went to a geek meeting the other night and understood what they were talking about. Who’d of thought.

I have learned the ins and outs of twitter…..just in time to have my account go down. Now I have to go back and figure out that bug. Oh well.

I actually started to make money in July of this year. That first $27.00 deposited in my account was a thrill.

I now know I can make it. I know I can push through the bugs.

Now this might not seem like a lot to you. But when I consider that I did not even know how to google at this time last year, I think I have done pretty darn good.

Did I make mistakes? Yes! Are there things I would have done differently? Yes!

Are there things I have done right? Yes! WordPress is one and my Mac is another. I also love the choices I have made for hosting, domain registration and my theme. I have also had some very good mentoring. I absolutely love Internet marketing for newbies.

Right now I am learning everything I can about affiliate marketing and niche marketing. That is going great! I can’t wait to turn you on to what I have found! One is for Newbies and the other, although it is simple is not quite Newbie. You will love them!
