There are 4 different types bloggers working to make money online. Knowing what kind of blogger you are will help you in writing your “About Me” page.
1. Expert: having special skill or knowledge derived from training or experience: knowing and ready as a result of wide experience or extensive practice. `Websters Third International Dictionary’
Example: You have your own property management business, you write a blog on property management.
2. Apprentice: any learner beginner or novice. ‘YourDictionary.com’
Example: You are learning how to cook, your blog invites others to share your journey.
3. Insider: a person inside a given place or group. ‘YourDictionary.com’
Example: You belong to the Social Media Club of Utah and you blog on using Social Media.
4. Informer: one that informs, animates or inspires. ‘Websters Third International Dictionary’
Example: You love to soak up all the information you can on eating healthy. On your blog you bring life to this information and inspire others to eat healthy.
A simple statement of your qualifications when your write “About Me” web pages will go a long way to inviting and keeping your readers.
