No matter what your online business is you, will be purchasing domain names. It is just part of the game when you get into affiliate and Internet niche marketing. I currently have purchased over 100 domain names. That is a small amount compared to other Internet marketers.
Now why would you need so many domain names?
Article Marketing
When I write articles for ezines about buying domains, I cannot use my GoDaddy affiliate link. I must use a domain address. You will be getting a domain name for every affiliate product you sell and promote with article marketing. For example, I am an affiliate for Goddady.com, one of the largest and the best domain registration companies. In the resource box I use http://newbiesbuydomains.com which directly links to GoDaddy.
eBook Affiliates
You will be purchasing domain names for every ebook product you sell. Do this so that no one can see your affiliate link and change it. For example when you click on http://newbieslearncopywritingsecrets.com you will go to the sales page of an ebook. There are other ways to hide you links, but I find this the most effective because my domain names are part of branding my self.
Internet Marketing Niches
You will be purchasing domain names for every one of your Internet marketing niches. Every niche has it’s very own web site with its very own address.
Squeeze Pages
A big part of marketing is done with squeeze pages. You gather email addresses in order to give more information to your subscribers and to offer products you think are worth buying. Every squeeze page has it’s own domain name. Here is an example of one of my squeeze pages, http://domainswipefilesecrets.com
