You Can Learn Affiliate Marketing With Cell Phone Ads

by sheila on January 20, 2010

Over $800 million was spent on mobile phone ads in 2009. Emarketer.com predicts that figure will rise to $33,330 million by 2013.

Just this week it was reported in autonews.com that GMC is looking to pull all TV advertising in favor of mobile phone ads.

“GMC is pursuing smart phone marketing because studies show that by 2011, two-thirds of cell phone sales to people under 40 will be smart phones.” according to Steve Rosenblum, GMC’s director of advertising.

Over 300 million iPhone applications have been downloaded in the last 3 months. The iTunes store has 15,000 iPhone apps you can buy. I can’t even imagine how many songs they have.

Hi Sheila,

I’m new to Affiliate Marketing, but now that I’ve discovered it I’m afraid I’m going to be hooked for life. I too am a big believer in mobile phone advertising and I’m building my first website around that topic. Here it is http://www.mobilepho0neads.org/ My full time job is advertising and the mobile phone ad trend is surpassing the desire to be on the internet because there are so many more mobile phone owners in the world than PC or MAC owners. People will need both but the future is definitely in mobile phone ads. I’ve looked at the Cell Phone Treasure Course and it’s excellent. I recommend it to everyone. We have to show the young folks that us older people still know how to change with the times. Did you see him driving around in his new Audi that he bought with his Cell Phone Treasure Profits? Amazing. I’m going to sign up for your newsletter and I’m sure I will learn a lot from you. Take care.

It really seems to be the way of the future. I watch my boys use their cell phones with such proficiency and frequency that I’m not surprised that they will be the next great marketing tool.
