The Best Web Browser Is A Free Browser

by sheila on February 19, 2010

Want a web browser you really love? The best web browser is Firefox. It is by far the most surfer friendly browser available. Other browsers do not compare to the simplicity of Firefox.

This might sound silly but most people do not know the difference between a web browser and a search engine. Your internet browser helps you navigate the internet. It gives you access to your email, other websites, social media sites and the search engines. Yahoo, MSN are Search engines. These search engines search the internet and retrieve data from files, documents and web sites. Then they present that information so that we are able to find it.

Reasons I love Firefox

  1. Fast browser speed.
  2. A bookmark system that is easy to use and organize.
  3. Easy to search for the history of the sites I have visited.
  4. Prevents pop up advertising. Yeah!
  5. Asks me if I want to close anything I am working on and move to another page. This has save me lots of time.
  6. Restores the previous sessions I was working on.
  7. Creates browser tabs of the sites I am working on.
  8. Coffee Cup add-on, opens tabs of all the sites I like to visit all at once.
  9. Pass word manager…remembers my passwords.
  10. Security; I get a warning for any sites that are potential problems. Firefox is a secure web browser.

This screen shot shows a section of my Firefox browser. You can see my history, navigation bar and my Coffee Cup tabs.

Aside from the fact I have less navigation problems with Foxfire, I love the Coffee Cup feature. I just click on it and all my favorite sites show up. I use it rather than RSS feed for the sites I want to visit on a repeated basis.

I like the Web Developer Toolbar, Firebug, and Live HTTP Headers add-ons as well as many SEO toolbars/plugins available. As a developer/SEO – “priceless” – great browser. I have, for the past few years, used IE for testing purposes only.

I’ve been using Firefox since I started blogging. Tried Opera for awhile, but didn’t like it as much. I had no clue about the coffee cup feature!! Thank you for mentioning it. I will mess with that later today and see what I think. Sounds great.
