Blog copywriting seems to be a new concept to Newbies. I see really fabulous stories and data on blogs….but they are lost for the lack of copywriting basics.
So what is Blog Copywriting?
Getting your ideas across to the visitors that happen to stop by your blog.
No matter how a visitor arrives on your site, you only have a few seconds to get that visitor to decide to stay. Then you must get them to actually read your blog and take the desired action.
In the few seconds you can capture their attention and then capture their interest. But it takes much more that just writing good content. It is more that telling a great story.
Your fabulous ideas can be lost in a sea of words that a visitor has a hard time reading. So I am sending you to a post that I wrote last September; “Learn Copywriting – Internet Copywriting Secrets”.
So get busy, go learn copywriting. Learn the Internet Copywriting Secrets. Then pour out that fabulous data.

Thanks for the kind words! Copywriting is something that bloggers must take seriously. In your Sept. post, you point out that white space is as important as the words on the page. It’s so true! Too many blogs are covered up with “blog art” and you have a hard time actually reading what’s been written. As usual, keeping it simple is a good rule

I didn’t think about it,but you’re right. You do have a short amount of time to share your info with your reader. If you don’t catch their attention you’ll lose them. Thanks for the reminder.
