Affiliate Marketing is one of the most lucrative ways of making money on the Internet. For a newbie, the trick is find an affiliate marketing system that is easy to learn so they can start making money fast.
Affiliate marketing definition:
“The process of promoting other peoples product and services and receiving a commission once something is sold.” To illustrate the power of affiliate selling, if you earn $20 commission for every affiliate product you sell, and you sell 100 products, you will make $2000 – Not bad huh?
How does affiliate marketing work?
Basically a system is set in place where sellers post there products for sell and promoters find products they want to sell. The system keeps track of all sells and pays the commissions. Clickbank is a good affiliate marketplace for finding and selling products.
You can do this this 3 different ways.
1. Be an affiliate for others products and services to earn commissions.
2. Sell your own products such as ebooks, course, memberships or physical products. Offer affiliate partnerships so others can promote your products and services.
3. A combination of selling others products and selling your own products.
3 things to keep in mind.
1. Choose a system with step by step video instructions. It is easy to get lost if you can not see exactly how to put the system into action.
2. Follow the exact steps of the system. So often people try to change a successful system….learn the system exactly, then you can test out anything new you want.
3. Always buy from someone you can contact. Look for contact information on the pitch page. Check it out if you feel you need to be more secure in your purchase.

Are you hearing the applause? Excellent advice for getting started in affiliate marketing!
And looks like Martha Giffen and I have something in common (besides our crazy sense of humor!). I made my very first dollar through affiliate marketing.
The only thing I would really recommend to brand new affiliate marketers as far as products is not to start out trying to sell some $5000 coaching program. Begin with something that’s reasonably priced to broaden the scope of your potential customers.
