Recently we have looked at what affiliate marketing is. We also looked at the best ways a newbie can get started in the affiliate marketing world.
In the next series we will take a look at marketing and promotion. Again we will keep it simple and start with the basics of building your online business. You want to attract lots of attention in different ways.
7 Simple Ways for Marketing Your Affiliate Products
- SEO – (Search Engine Optimization) Probably the most important – least expensive way to market on the web. Too often it is one of the least used and yet it is easy to put into action. It is impossible to do effective article marketing, blog marketing, social media marketing and video marketing with out knowing SEO.
- Article Marketing – Write 300 to 400 word articles and submit them to the top article directories. Include a link to your affiliate product in the resource box.
- Blog Marketing – Use your blog to promote affiliate products. You can write review posts. Place ads on you site. Have guest posts. Share content related to the product. Teach something related to the product.
- Email Marketing – Use an optin campaign to take your affiliate marketing campaign to new heights. (I will be teaching you a web promotion technique that I have not seen done by anyone else.)
- Social Networking - Put a social networking plan into place. Keep it simple so it does not eat up your time.
- Video Marketing – Spread the word with video. People like to see what is happening. Video can introduce products, teach and sell.
- Offline Marketing – Take your promotions offline. You can make a big impact with out all the competition.
So we are off to a new series of posts that will be covering each of these ways of marketing your affiliate products.

I agree… SEO is soooo important. I was taught early on how to do keyword search and use good SEO strategies. I’ve never been sorry. Most of the traffic that comes to one of my blogs comes from SEO. I get several opt-ins to my list every week because of SEO.
By the way… I love your photo…. it’s the best. Right to the point!
I have to comment on the photo too! It IS an attention-getter! Looking forward to reading this series. You have just outlined everything a person needs to know in order to produce a thriving business.
SEO is actually where I’m probably not as strong as I should be. Although I KNOW to look up keywords and how to use them, I find I don’t always take the time to do it. Since you are recommending it in the number 1 spot, I’m going to be more diligent!
