Do you like a good challenge? a blog challenge? or maybe a video challenge?
No doubt there are benefits to accepting a challenge and getting it done.
Taking a Challenge
Daily Blog Challenge: Doing a daily blog challenge definitely holds your feet to the fire. Not only do you get lots of content for your site, you build relationships with the other bloggers in the challenge. The Ultimate Blog Challenge starts on April 1st.
Write A Post Challenge: Daniel Scocco of Daily Blog Tips offered a challenge I took. It payed off with both backlinks and traffic to my site. All I had to do was write a post on my site and mention the challenge. (See my challenge below.)
Do A Project Challenge: I am a BIG fan of Robert Plank and Lance Tamashiro. I have learned more from these two than any one else on the web. When you sign up for one of their memberships…you have been challenged! It is learn and DO.
Joining Robert and Lance in a challenge was one of the toughest thing I have ever done and I made it all the way through. The important part is, I have used what I learned over and over again.
31 Days To a Better Blog Challenge: ProBlogger guarantees a better blog with 31 tasks that will revitalize your blog. This challenge is worth it!
Video Challenge
In this edition of the Weekend Web” we are speedlinking to a challenge you can join… a video challenge. I can’t tell you how many people had “learn and make videos” as one of their New Years resolutions. Well, join me in this challenge and get it done.

Okay Fran,
All the rules will be in my post on Thursday.
Okay, you knew I couldn’t resist. I’ve just got to take you up on your headline challenge! I’ll let you know when you’re all linked up.
These are some mighty exciting challenges, Sheila! I’m sorry I missed Pat Flynn’s ‘list post’ challenge. Darn! I hope he does that one again. Would love to get on board with the video challenge but that’s kinda hard without any video producing equipment. I could certainly do an Animoto or One True Media video but Pat’s entry guidelines require your “voice” to be heard on the video — definitely a very reasonable request. Video challenges are in my future.
As you know, I’ve joined several blogging challenges and loved every one of them. After all, that’s how I met YOU!
Really enjoy your speedlinking posts.

Hi Sheila
I don’t feel confident about trying most challenges when I see them posted. Especially if they involve anything even slighty techie lol
Did take one commluv challenge that Ileane set and was one of the winners. That was a pleasant surprise
Will be heading over to Glen’s site to read what he says about headlines. That one doesn’t come easy to me.
Although Alex Whalley who imho is the king of headline grabbing post titles; did give me a shout out for my latest post headline. So figure I might at times be inspired, but not too often in that arena

Thanks Sheila for posting this.
This is a great collection of challenges and links to informative sources.
I’ll definitely be taking on at least one of these for my blog.
Ah, there’s nothing wrong with a decent challenge every once in a while, gets the competitive blood pumping
Great read Sheila, and thanks for sharing. It’s my first time over here, and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but your site lives up to it’s billing of the ‘newbie lifeline’, which I’d still consider myself a newbie in some respects.
Take care

Hi Sheila,
I love your speedlinkings and I also love me a good challenge. Unfortunately, the timing is not always right. I’m going to watch Alex Whalley and Robert Dempsey’s article marketing challenge they’ve just started and hopefully feel inspired.
BTW, your post title “I said blog disclaimer and you yawned?” is a great title!

Hi Sheila
Never seen so many challenges.
I’m not too bad at writing headlines so maybe that’s the one for me.
I’ll take a closer look at the rules and if I can find the time….
Problem at the moment is that I’ve just started playing around with the Genesis framework from Studiopress and it’s rather addictive.
Those half hour jobs take most of the day. LOL
I’m sure you know what I mean.
You’re doing a great job organising these challenges.
