I think you are right. The demand for good PLR is up! And the need for a big variety of PLR is also up. I recently purchased a Warrior Forum Special Offer that had great PLR video. They have made it really easy to make the video my own. I think some one could take PLR into all kinds of directions.
There is so much bad plr out there that I am really put off buying, it is often some of the worst written mess I have ever read!

I have never heard of this before. That sounds like a really cool idea. I thought about writing my own ebook, but that could take weeks. Paying $10 would be so much easier. However, I would want to be able to have something that stands out. Are there any case studies on how successful people are rewriting ebooks like this?

I have been starting to use PLR, and so far, what I have seen is pretty poor, but occasionally you come across plr that says you can’t edit it and that its for your own personal use? WHAT GOOD IS THAT? can you please tell me what one is suppose to do with PLR that you can’t edit and could someone please really define ‘for personal use only’. i mean, the whole point is to use it, sure personally, but what does that REALLY MEAN?

That does sound strange. True PLR is made to edited.
When it comes to personal use, this means you can use it on your own sites and for your own business. For example, I can not take personal use PLR and use it for my clients sites.
